Properties: The product is white or white like crystalline powder, odorless. It is hardly soluble in chloroform, undissolvable in water, ethanol and ether. Dissolvable in diluent acid solution and hot N, N-Dimethylformamide or Dimethyl sulfoxide.
Melting point: 256~262°C .
Uses: Lowering cholesterol, expanding twig blood vessel. Used to cure high cholesterol and artery congee-sclerosis
