Dimethyl sulfate
Uses: The product has found wide application in medicine, fertilizer and other industries, as a nice methylating agent, in manufacturing dimethyl sulfoxide,caffeine, vanillin, aminopyrine, trimethoprim and acephate, etc.. It can also be used as a substitute of alkyl halide as the methylating agent in organic synthesis.
